1.2 Growing Your Community 🌱
We build our community in 2 different ways.
Active engagement to connect.
We want to engage with people who engage with us. On our content, OR, when we do engagement on someone else's content.
When they engage with us, we reach out in the DMs. (Connection doesn’t happen in the replies). From here, we get to know them. Who they are, what they’re building. We then share synergies and invite them to join our creator group to grow together.
How to do engagement?
Don’t be a yes-man. Provide value, or provide your point of view on a tweet.
The #1 rule? DO NOT FORCE IT.
You will grow better without needless engagement.
If you can’t relate, leave it!
You really don’t need to do a lot to see an increase in engagement.
25 times a day, when you feel like it, is plenty to see an increase in reach.
(Unless it’s within your social community, then you can give more generic replies if it’s harder to relate to)
Create a CTA post.
Our second option is to create a post explaining what we want to do.
If it goes viral, you can completely skip point 1, and grow FAST.
Have them engage with you, then reach out and confirm with them that they wanna join the group!
Here’s how I did it:

I then created a follow-up post to attract even more participants:

As you can tell… I got more than enough interest.
